Henk van Hout is the founder and executor of MWM. Growing up in Brabant, in a family of hunters, Van Hout himself has over 45 years of experience in hunting and wildlife management. He has served on the regional board of the KNJV Brabant, acted as secretary of one of the first Wildlife Management Units, served as chairman of the WBE, participated in provincial badger discussions, and was responsible for the final editing of the magazine 'Insight into Nature' published by the foundation 'Conservation of Nature and Environment'. Additionally, he wrote for *the Dutch Hunter* in the 1980s.

Van Hout has hunted in many different countries and continents. His hunting experience, fascination with nature, wildlife, flora, and the interconnection between them, along with his international administrative background in education, make the establishment of MWM nothing short of a logical step in his illustrious career.
